Piggyvest Releases Statement to Address Rumors of Insolvency

Piggyvest an online savings and investment platform has released a statement amid rumors that the fintech firm may be facing insolvency after an alleged botched investment.

The firm is a statement said:

“Our attention has been drawn to some rumors making the rounds about Piggyvest. Please note that Piggyvest will NEVER compromise the funds of any users in any way. All Piggyvest user funds remain safe and secure as always. No user funds have experienced any loss of any kind, nor will they experience anything of the kind. Thank you for trusting us over the years. We do not take it for granted, we reassure you that your funds are safe as always.”

However, checks by NewsLead shows that some users are alleging that they cannot withdraw money from their Piggyvest accounts.

A lady Joy Obioma in a complaint made on Piggyvests social media platform said: “I withdrew last night and they said I will be credited within 3 business hours till now. I have not gotten my money. PiggyBankNg please do something about it because that money is for emergency now.”

Another customer Ajoku Bianca Chibuzor said:

“My withdrawal hasn’t been credited to me in over 3months. July 15th till date.”
